



Urology
Mr. Vimo Arumuham is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Endourologist, who works in the internationally renowed, Endourology and Stone Unit, at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and West Hertfordshire NHS Trust. He is available to see patients in Central London and Hertfordshire.
He is expert in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of general urological diseases, with a particular subspecialty interest in the treatment and prevention of urinary tract stones - for which he sees patients from around the UK.
He is a graduate of the prestigious National Medical Director's Darzi Fellowship - awarded to only handful of Doctors in the NHS; A year with the King's Fund and a Master's Degree in Clinical leadership.
His specialist training has been held within the prestigious North Central London rotation and was awarded the "Markovitz Prize" at the completion of his training at the Intitute of Urology.
At West Herts, he is the Clinical Lead for the Acute Stone Pathway, both for referrals from the Emergency Department and through General Practice. Furthermore, with the development of his award-winning Virtual Stone Clinic, has reduced time to treatment and follow up by half. He is also a Medical Examiner to the Coroner of Hertfordshire and understands that clear communication and empathy is the centre of patient care.
He is Fellowship trained and has spent time in China and Sri Lanka, having been awarded "The Urology Foundation" Travelling Fellowship.

Diagnostic investigations for Bladder and Prostate Cancer (Elevated PSA, Haematuria, Haematospermia)
The management of peno-scrotal disorder (Phimosis, Hydrocele, Vasectomy)
