“We did an AXILLO-BIFEMORAL BYPASS for my dad for ulceration in his legs which had a poor circulation. My father (80 y.o) has had a years long problem with circulation to his legs. His conditioned worsened when he got a spine surgery in 2018 to treat his spinal stenosis condition which also caused foot drop. Shortly after the spine surgery he had also developed a bed ulcer and the circulation to his legs reached a critical all time low in early 2019. We contacted Dr. Vassilis, who guided us through the available treatment options and meticulously answered all our questions and concerns. The operation was performed in August 2019 and went extremely well. This was a scary period for us since my father had two operations within the space of roughly one year which is no small thing for someone who is 80 yo and has never had a surgery before. We were positively impressed with Dr. Vassilis's attentiveness before, during and after the operation. Thanks to his good work my father was able to return back to normality and is only now being periodically monitored by Dr. Vassilis. “

Dr. Vassilis successfully operated under CEA the severe stenosis of my father's carodit. He was the only doctor that fully explained to us the situation and showed professionalism and a real interest in my father's health. Even if it was considered a very high risk operation, especially for my father, he proceeded while other doctors wouldn't take the risk. We really appreciated his support before and after the operation. He was closely supervising my father's progress after the operation and he always made himself available when needed. Thank you Dr. Vassilis for showing so much care and concern.

Nefrectomy Kidney Transplant Hernia
I know very well Dr Hadjianastasiou as i had to do four operations with him and all went well. 1. Due to a cancer on my transplant kidney i did a kidney nefrectomy and I had to do a peritoneal dialisys. 2. Two Hernia operations as was a cause during the peritoneal dialisys for two years. 3. Kidney transplantation on 2019. I feel very well now and stronger. I have to give an applause to Dr Vassilis Hadjianastasiou as his is my life hero. From 2017 i was feeling confident with him as he was inspiring me this confident with his professionalism, and his kindness even if I was falling down psychological due to my situation. He is experienced to the above subject operations I mentioned and I am suggesting him 100%. Thank you Doctor.

Laparoscopic Nephrectomy Kidney Transplant
Prof. Vassilis Hadjanastassiou carried out a live donor nephrectomy on me as I was a kidney donor to a close family member. From the very first moment we met I felt confident in that I would be operated on by an experienced and capable surgeon. He was always reachable and willing to respond to all my questions and concerns about the nephrectomy. This helped me also deal with my anxiety in the days leading up to the operation. The same good care and attention I had while in hospital for the nephrectomy I also experienced during the days that followed the operation when I was still recovering. Very thankful and appreciative for the treatment I received from Prof. Vassilis Hadjanastassiou.

Kidney Transplant
Professor Hadjanastassiou has shown care throughout. He kept me and my husband informed about the various stages of the kidney transplant process (pre-transplant screening, transplant operation, post- operative follow up), he was easily accessible and was always willing to answer my questions in a clear and easy to understand manner. He was also very supportive in helping me to manage my anxiety and low psychology during those days immediately preceding such a major operation. I felt safe and confident in his hands. I would generally characterise Professor Hadjanastassiou as an excellent surgeon, a good communicator and a doctor who shows genuine care and understanding to his patients.

I consulted Dr Hadjianastassiou for a suspicion of a vascular disease. After seeing a lot of different specialists for months not knowing what was wrong, I felt like he was the first one to actually really listen to me. He has been a psychological help in that difficult period. Eventually, I didn't have a vascular disease but Dr Hadjianastassiou redirected me to a neurologist and greatly contributed to the final diagnosis. I am then really grateful to him and would absolutely recommand him.
