Dr Richard Ang, Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist, currently works within the Homerton University Hospital and Barts Heart Centre in London. He also sees patients privately at the One Heart Clinic, Harley Street and the HCA Wellington Hospital. He is highly experienced in the treatment of heart rhythm conditions (arterial fibrillation, STVs, etc).
Dr Ang began his medical education at the University of London where he qualified in Medicine in 2002. He then progressed to his specialist training for cardiology at several well-respected hospitals throughout London. Later on, he undertook a research degree examining heart rhythm disorders, which later earned him a PhD for his work. He is currently the Clinical Lead for SVT ablation procedures within his NHS Trust.
