Mr Dwivedi diagnosed my condition (Recurrent Laryngeal Papillomatosis), and has since performed two operations (the first a microlaryngoscopy and LASER excision of papillomatosis, the second a microlaryngoscopy and microdebridement of laryngeal papillomatosis). These operations, combined with an HPV vaccination and treatments for acid reflux, have led to a substantial improvement in the quality of my voice, and I am very pleased with the course of my treatment. I am pleased with the quality of communication and explanation I have received from Mr Dwivedi.

    Tonsillectomy Tonsillitis
Dr Dwivedi performed my tonsillectomy surgery for me. He took the time to provide me with detailed information about the lymphatic system and the role of tonsils and the repeat tonsillitis I had experienced as well as the procedure, recovery and risks and answered all of my questions before I decided to proceed with the surgery. After my surgery he followed up with me almost daily to check on my recovery progress and answer questions or address any concerns I had. This made me feel very at ease and confident that I was receiving the best care.

I came to see Mr Dwivedi with a tickly cough and sore throat that had been going on almost every night for about 7 months. I also felt I couldn't breathe through my nose properly when sleeping. Mr Dwivedi carefully listened to my story and asked lots of questions. The examination of my nose and throat was careful, painless and super professional. He also tested me for a wide area of allergies and the results were available to me a few days later. He explained the reason for my symptoms very well and I felt very much taken care of and heard. The medication he prescribed has helped me a lot and even after my treatment had finished he sent an email to follow up with some tips on natural remedies. I can highly recommend him!

I was seen for thyroid and neck cancer, requiring a total thyroidectomy and neck dissection. Mr Dwivedi explained everything to me in Layman’s terms, rather than complex medical terms so that I could fully understand the procedure. He listened attentively, and responded compassionately to my every query and fear, no matter how irrational or irrelevant. After the procedure he visited me on the ward every single day. I have been amazed at the level of care, attention and kindness he has shown me throughout. He’s clearly a technically brilliant surgeon, but beyond that he’s a truly caring and kind man who goes way above and beyond for his patients.

I have known Raghav since my FRCS ORL-HNS exam days. We met at an exam course in London. I witnessed how highly his colleagues spoke of him and he was acknowledged by most Consultants who were examining us. He has always believed in evidence based practice and has a wonderful manor with his patients. He specialises in Head and Neck Surgery and I would not hesitate in getting operated by him as I feel he would be the safest pair of hands for me. I would highly recommend for benign and malignant head and neck surgeries. He is constantly developing and always has in store something new in the innovative mind!
