Raghav made me feel extremely comfortable, and was extremely patient, even though I had poorly managed my time and double booked myself with my vaccine. He explained things thoroughly, and I left feeling very reassured.

Despite these pandemic times, Mr Dwivedi provided myself with the necessary care and attention in a friendly and professional way. However I believe that hard pressed Consultant's jobs would be made easier and even more efficient by the support of consistent services of a related specialist nurse practitioner. In my case I was originally provided with a highly proactive practitioner who 'disappeared' with no explanation, leaving some element of confusion and worry.

Thyroidectomy Thyroid Cancer Thyroglossal Duct Surgery
I was referred to an ENT by my GP for a lump in my neck. Two weeks after, I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and a Thyroglossal duct cyst. Mr Dwivedi diagnosis was professional and efficient, carried out urgently and rapidly even through covid19 situation. He represented my case in the MDT and spent a significant amount of time with my husband and I to go through all the details of the proposed treatment with great patience and empathy. We fully trusted him and chose Mr Dwivedi to be my surgeon when I decided to have the operation in a private hospital (The Harley Street Clinic). I had a total Thyroidectomy for the thyroid cancer and Sistrunk Procedure for the Thyroglossal duct cyst. My case was very challenging due to thyroid gland stuck to the surrounding structures, lack of tissue planes and thyroglossal cyst. However it went very well and I am very pleased with the outcome. Three weeks after the surgery, my voice is good (both recurrent nerves controlling vocal cords preserved), my calcium level are great (parathyroid glands preserved) and the neck scars have healed up beautifully. Throughout the process, Mr Dwivedi was attentive, caring and kind. He saw how anxious I was and did everything he can to calm me down and support me. I cant thank him enough for the professional treatment and genuine kindness.

A special thanks to Mr Dwivedi for his professional, friendly care. I was referred by my GP for an assessment of a neck lump. After further investigations it was recommended that I undergo a thyroidectomy procedure for a large thyroid lump. Mr Dwivedi took his time and explained everything in a user friendly and a very caring way. He reassured me of the procedure as I am quite a nervous patient and Mr Dwivedi was great at putting me at ease. After I was discharged from the hospital, I was also impressed with his considerate aftercare which involved several telephone calls. He is a truly caring and kind doctor who goes way above his duty. I have been so impressed with every part of my treatment from Mr Dwivedi and all of his team. Thank you.

I was referred by my GP to an initial consultation for an assessment to a “Neck lump” through a MRI it was recommended the removal procedure for a suspected Dermoid cyst Dr Dwivedi explained the procedure well and in details during my initial visit. On the surgery date I was again explained the different steps by the doctor and I was well looked after by the post op nurses team. The aftercare was great and Dr Dwivedi on the surgery date follow up with myself and confirmed the “Dermoid cyst excision” went really well . The aftercare and post op visit did not feel rushed at all, I had the chance to extensively ask any questions regarding the surgery to the dr and he was very happy with the scarring which is minimal. Overall I would highly recommend the doctor and his team.

I have known Raghav since my FRCS ORL-HNS exam days. We met at an exam course in London. I witnessed how highly his colleagues spoke of him and he was acknowledged by most Consultants who were examining us. He has always believed in evidence based practice and has a wonderful manor with his patients. He specialises in Head and Neck Surgery and I would not hesitate in getting operated by him as I feel he would be the safest pair of hands for me. I would highly recommend for benign and malignant head and neck surgeries. He is constantly developing and always has in store something new in the innovative mind!
