Professor John Hollingdale is a consultant in trauma & orthopaedic surgery and has over 32 years experience.
Professor Hollingdale qualified at the Westminster medical school in 1975 and then went on to complete his orthopaedic training on the Northwest London hospitals training rotation in 1987.
Since 2004 he has been actively involved in the development and promotion of minimally invasive techniques in total knee replacement in the United Kingdom. Recently he has been trained in Robotically assisted hip and knee replacement. Professor Hollindale has taught on many cadaver courses in Europe to teach other surgeons
Professor Hollingdale was president of the International Society for technology in arthroplasty and served on the council of the British Orthopaedic Association for three years.
Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic he has started doing virtual consultations.
