From first meeting professor Hollingdale I immediately knew I could put my trust in him due to his level of care and explanation of all procedures that I was to undergo .his after care and calls to me at home are something that I have never experienced. The fact that he took the time out of a busy schedule to so this speaks volumes.at all times I felt safe in his care and would highly recommend anyone to use him if needed in future..

Professor Hollingdale was clear and straight forward from the start. I had seen another surgeon and went to Professor Hollingdale for a second opinion. He recommended a partial knee replacement instead of a full replacement. The operation was a resounding success. I was walking within two days and am now pain free and so impressed I want him to do the same operation on my other knee. What I liked was his assured confidence. Yes I could start practicing my golf swing after a few weeks, he encouraged me to play as soon as I felt able and was not over cautious like so many medics. He called me on my mobile regularly through the Covid outbreak to check on progress and offer support.

I was initially referred to Professor Hollingdale with a serious, unusual hip injury. After having looked at my MRI, he told me that he had not seen this type of injury in years and immediately referred me to another Surgeon who specialises specifically in this injury. Although I never met Professor Hollingdale in person, he was responsive, kind and very helpful given this time sensitive situation.

Good care and communication. Appointments at a nearer hospital post surgery. Anaesthetist recommended for 2nd procedure very considerate of a very needle phobic patient and made me feel very comfortable. Ongoing care very good despite physio and hydro-therapy cancelled because of Covid.

I did not end up being the patient of Professor Hollingdale, but I was looking for a surgeon to help my father. Professor Hollingdale was immediately responsive, practical, helpful and kind.
