



Gastroenterology
Dr. Bobby Prasad is a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist with many years of experience in the management of gastroenterology and hepatology conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, Chron’s disease, abdominal pain, bowel cancer screenings, and abnormal liver function. He sees private patients at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Prasad earned his primary medical qualification at the University of London in 1994 after which he undertook and completed his basic and advanced training at Boston University and St. Thomas’ Hospital, London. Upon completion of his training, he was appointed Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, in 2005 where he was later also appointed as Clinical Lead for Gastroenterology and Hepatology. During this time, he also provided support to the Royal Brompton and Royal Marsden Hospital.
Since his appointment, Dr. Prasad has centered his practice around holistic care, evidence-based medicine and also creating an approachable, and friendly environment for his patients to openly express their concerns. Dr. Prasad is also an accredited Endoscopist and Endoscopy Trainer, as part of the National Endoscopy Training Program at St. George’s Hospital. He is also actively involved in the medical education sector and regularly tutors medical students, Consultants, and junior doctors nationally and internationally.
