Professor Bobby Prasad is a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist and Visiting Professor at the University of West London.
He is now in full-time private practice and his NHS base was previously at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London where he was the Clinical Lead for Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He also draws further on his outstanding experience having supported Yale University in the US, and London's Royal Marsden and Royal Brompton Hospitals.
Bobby trained at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, London and Boston, USA completing prestigious Advanced Endoscopy Fellowships in Endoscopic Ultrasound at Yale University, USA and in Therapeutic Endoscopy and ERCP in Charleston, USA under Professors Peter Cotton and Robert Hawes.
Professor Prasad is fully accredited on the UK General Medical Council's Specialist Register for Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine. He was Board Certified in Internal Medicine (USA), is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He has been a Representative on both the International and Ambassador's Committees of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and a regular reviewer for the journals The Annals of Internal Medicine.
