The Wellington Hospital Elstree Waterfront
The Waterfront Beaufort House Elstree Road, Elstree, United Kingdom, WD6 3BSProfessor Ash Mosahebi qualified at Guy's & St Thomas Medical School in London in 1995. He later underwent plastic surgical training at some of the largest and busiest hospitals in UK.
On account of his extensive clinical experience, Professor Mosahebi is able to carry out body sculpturing and breast re-shaping, alongside procedures such as full body lifting, thigh lifts and facelifts. His patient-centred approach to clinical practice means that he discusses all options available and tailor makes the surgery for the patient.
It should come as no surprise that he was one of the first consultants to perform Vaser liposuction in UK. Additionally, he has extensive experience on facial rejuvenation both surgically and using non-surgical techniques. As one of the country’s leading plastic surgeons, he is currently involved in training other doctors in cosmetic surgery to other plastic surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons.
Professor Ash Mosahebi is a proponent of research and pedagogy and maintains his position as the deputy editor of the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery and also the author of a number of publications. He has furthermore lectured at national conferences such as The Body Conference, to other surgeons. He regularly appears on TV, providing expert commentary and is often called upon by BAAPS as a spokesperson. He has appeared on the BBC One Show carrying out breast reconstruction procedures.
A supporter of innovation in medicine, Professor Mosahebi retains his curiosity in how new technology can improve customer care. To this extent, he is involved in pioneering research work on regenerating new tissues through new biomaterials and tissue engineering.
In his personal life, Professor Mosahebi is an epicure and enjoys dinner parties with both his family and friends.
