



Neurology
Nikos is a Consultant Neurologist, with a specialist interest in Acquired Brain Injury and Neurorehabilitation, at Barts Health NHS Trust and the Regional Neurorehabilitation Unit (RNRU), as well as a Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London.
Nikos undertook neurology specialty training at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (Queen Square), and went on to complete the ‘National Treasure’ Clinical Fellowship in Neurological Rehabilitation at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
He has a research interest in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cognitive impairment following brain injury, including following trauma, stroke, or cardiac arrest. He completed a PhD at the UCL Institute of Neurology (Queen Square) and a Clinical Lectureship at Imperial College London, with academic contributions including several high-impact publications in peer-reviewed journals, and presentations at national and international conferences. He also has an interest in medical education and active involvement in undergraduate and post-graduate neurology teaching.
