    About

Mr Nikolaos Haliasos is a Consultant Neurosurgeon with over a decade of experience in the treatment and management of neck, back and face pain; cognitive disorders and brain tumours. He is currently based at the London Bridge Hospital and the Holly Private Hospital.

Mr Haliasos gained his primary medical qualification at the University of Rome in 2001, after which he trained at John's Hopkins Medical School, where he was selected for further Neurosurgery training. He undertook his specialist training on the North Thames training programme, which included prestigious hospitals such as UCLH and Imperial College. Upon completion of his training, he gained membership with the Royal College of Surgeons and was appointed Consultant Neurosurgeon.

Since his appointment, Mr Haliasos has regularly performed minimally invasive surgery for arm pain, disc replacements and sciatica, and has also pioneered a technique to give pain relief to patients with as little discomfort as possible. He is also active in scientific research and continues to find new ways to improve patient care.
