Dr Srinivasan trained in cardiac rhythm management at The Heart Hospital in Marylebone and the Barts Heart Centre in London. During this time he undertook a nationally awarded BHF Clinical Research Fellowship studying the mechanisms of lethal cardiac rhythm disorders and was awarded a PhD at the University College London (UCL). Dr Neil is an excellent cardiologist. I was so worried about my palpitations and they were ruining my life. I saw him and he immediately allayed my fears. I underwent ablation for my SVT and have got my life back now. No more palpitations and I'm back in the gym.

Neil is exactly who you want to have looking after you when you are faced with the worry of a heart operation. He is superbly calm and knowledgeable, and exudes the assurance of somebody who has seen every problem before and no matter what is found during the operation, he will fix it. He explained to me in great detail what my options were, and what he would recommend, in fact my brother who is a GP commented on how comprehensive his explanation was. The cardiologist who referred me to Neil had rejected a number of doctors suggested by my health insurer. He described Neil as 'excellent' and I have to agree with his recommendation. The proof is in the pudding - I had a double heart operation at the end of March to fix atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation. In mid-June, I'm back to running half-marathons and long-distance cycling. I can't recommend Neil enough.

It was an absolute pleasure to have a consultation with Dr Srinivasan. Very friendly, listened to my problem. We together decided about an ablation and I have gained my life back, as the last 15 months I can cycle and swim again. Very grateful.

From our very first conversation, it was clear that Dr Srinivasan was interested in my quality of life; the things I want to be able to do; how I was feeling. His approach has been refreshingly wholistic. He has taken cognisance of all the factors affecting my health and well-being. The consultations have felt more like conversations where explanations have been comprehensive, and the treatment plan was a joint decision. I have felt in very safe hands, secure in the knowledge that Dr Srinivasan has understood all my hopes, fears, expectations and is working to give me the very best that I can achieve. I am very grateful to have been fortunate enough to have been treated by him.

Excellent, giving great confidence that I was in safe hands. Gave a full explanation of the problem and its solution, thoughtfully taking into account my limited knowledge of the workings of the human body. Very professional but with a very friendly and caring manner. Although, naturally I wasn't too pleased to suffer from a heart problem I couldn't have run into a nicer person to fix it !

Neil is an excellent electrophysiology consultant as well as providing a very sensible and holistic general cardiology opinion. He has had first class training at world leading centres and now is pioneering EP treatment in both in the NHS and in private practice. I would recommend him to patients with palpitations, blackouts or any cardiological complaints without hesitation.
