



Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Miss Karolina Afors graduated from St George’s Hospital (University of London) in 2006 and qualified as a member of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists in 2012.
Ms Afors is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at The Whittington Hospital, London. She has a specialist interest in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and has worked as a clinical fellow in advanced endoscopic surgery at both King’s College Hospital and IRCAD, an internationally recognised endoscopic centre in France.
She regularly sees patients with menstrual disorders and pelvic pain and provides a range of gynaecological services and treatments including pelvic ultrasound, keyhole surgery and early pregnancy scanning.
Miss Afors holds a number of positions including chairman of the Young Endoscopic Platform (YEP) in conjunction with the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopists and she served on the BSGE committee for laparoscopic training. She also acts as head instructor for the European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery.
Miss Afors has published extensively with over 30 peer-reviewed publications. She continues to be heavily involved in teaching and serves on the faculty for the laparoscopic courses at the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists as well as teaching on the advanced gynaecological courses at IRCAD, France.
