Mrs Lorraine Grover is a Psychosexual Nurse Specialist based in London. She has particular expertise in managing sexuality and sexual function in patients diagnosed with prostate cancer.

She qualified in Nursing from St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London in 1984 and worked as a Registered Nurse for a number of years. In 1994 she developed a nurse led Erectile Dysfunction Clinic at St Georges Hospital sparking her interest in sexual wellbeing. After training with Relate, she qualified as a Psychosexual Therapist in 2003. This dual qualification enables her to optimise the management and treatment of sexual dysfunction due to either physical and/or psychological ill health.

Mrs Grover has worked on several advisory boards regarding the development of therapies for erectile dysfunction and its management. She achieved a Developing Practice Award from the Queen's Nursing Institute to develop an information package 'The Erection Connection' for patients and partners regarding erectile dysfunction. She has been a national advisor for Prostate Cancer UK for a number of years and answered questions received by the Macmillan Online Community 'Ask an Expert' forum for men's cancers and sexual dysfunction.
