Ms Elaine Clifford is an HCPC registered Senior Audiological Scientist and Hearing Aid Dispenser who sees patients privately, including at HCA UK at The Wilmslow Hospital. She has over 12 years' clinical experience, including 11 in the in the NHS.

Ms Clifford's skills lie in the assessment and rehabilitation of hearing, tinnitus and balance patients. She completed her MSc in Audiology at Southampton University and began work at Nottingham University NHS Trust, completing a Certificate of Audiological Competence in 1993.

She gained NHS experience as a Principal Audiological Scientist, working with adults with hearing and balance difficulties and in 2013, took up a position as a research audiologist at the MRC Institute of Hearing Research, looking at the effects of ageing on hearing and cognition, before she began work for Holt Hearing and Balance Services in 2014.

Ms Clifford continues to refresh and develop her clinical skills by attending courses, particularly in the field of tinnitus and vestibular rehabilitation. She has interests in the importance of relaxation and anxiety management and in the management of vertigo and tinnitus.
