My procedure with Mr Karagama has been life changing. I have visited many doctors over the years, trying to get a diagnosis for my symptoms, I was constantly bloated & uncomfortable and I spent many sleepless nights with trapped wind wondering if I’d ever find out what was actually wrong with me. Dietary changes were made, dairy free, gluten free, carb free etc but all to no avail. I began to dread eating and my life was literally unbearable. One day I was on holiday watching those around me enjoying food and alcohol and I noticed one thing that they all had in common, they could burp and I couldn’t. After a little research I found out about Mr Karagama, after investigating my larynx he confirmed that I was a perfect candidate for his Botox procedure. I have never looked back, I have benefitted immensely from the relief of being able to burp. I can’t thank Mr Karagama enough.

By the time I found Mr Karagama, other consultants had told me that I might have to give up hope of ever speaking properly again. I was also having difficulty swallowing and breathing. Mr Karagama told me immediately that that was incorrect and I have options. He reviewed my progress and clearly explained the surgical options open to me. A month after my surgery and I can now talk again in groups and project volume which I simply could not do before. I have no trouble swallowing or breathing and sometimes even forget I ever had an issue. Mr Karagama deserves all the praise that comes his way and I will never forget what he has done for me.

Mr Karagama inspired me with confidence. He's very thoughtful and his team looked after me extremely well. There was very little pain and the benefits of being able to have the procedure under local anaesthetic are huge. I would recommend staying somewhere close by afterwards if you're not local and travelling the next day. I only needed a few painkillers afterwards but it is advisable to take the following week off work to give you maximum time to recover. I can now sleep without waking up in the night with a dry mouth. Being able to breathe though my nose again is an absolute joy. I would highly recommend Mr Karagama and his team.

Where to begin... I stepped into Dr.K's office in May where my career was about to be put on pause for the next Six months. And Dr. K was just totally on my side, he got me an earlier appoinement which I am still forever greatful for, he was obviously my consultant and gave me the best advice for longevity and then was my surgeon. This was also my first ever surgical procedure and took extra time, and removed a second polyp he discovered whilst I was under anistetic. His office still makes me cry, but it's not because of fear of having a polyp, but that I'm still so overwhelmed and grateful for this man's expertise. My singing since has been stronger than ever, since working with Dr.K, Sue Addelstone and my own singing teacher. I know I can call anytime and ask questions. There is no one on this planet I trust more than DR.k! Ps. His charming PA. Joanne literally makes every phone so relaxing, supportive and laughter filled. I will always hold a place in my heart for both of them, now and always. Thank you Dr.K!

I suffered from Nasal Polyps for many years and when I heard Mr Karagama was using the Polyp vac procedure I went ahead and had this done. From start to finish the whole experience was a positive one, the staff were wonderful and Mr Karagama looked after me well with a wonderful positive attitude . I wouldn't hesitate to see him again if necessary.

Highly recommended. I have been able to make a booking within a month via email to remove my Nasal Polyps using microdebrider - a tool that is identical to the procedure performed using PolypVac. To see some of his sample videos on the website performed by both tools gave me really good confidence to start with. I am in my 60s and have suffered from Nasal Polyps almost all my life. I was particularly impressed to find that I could be seen for the first time, assessed with an endoscope and have my polyps removed, all in the same morning. My family had been searching all over the web for a procedure performed under local anesthetic. The consequence of this was my Polyps grew quite large over time and other consultants I have met in the past would only like to perform the removal under general anesthetic - something I wished to avoid as it left me really uncomfortable in the past. My visit with Mr Karagama is the 4th time I had Polyps removed and my only one performed under local anesthetic. I can confidently say it is my best. I have recovered much faster and my sleep patterns has tremendously improved. The only tool I am using now is a sinus rinse to pump water through and keep the passage clear. I think Mr Karagama is an amazing surgeon. I can sense his high level of experience throughout my visit. I am very thankful to him and everyone in his team for the hard work. I can highly recommend his services to Nasal Polyps sufferers like me. Kindest regards,

Through the internet I found out about Mr Yakubu Karagama. I travelled to the UK from The Netherlands to receive a treatment for a rare medical condition, namely the inability to belch. Mr Karagama and his team were very professional and understanding. Their communication was clear. Mr Karagama himself is very skillful and experienced. I was in good hands. 6 Weeks later I am now fully able to belch, which is life changing for me. I will forever be grateful to Mr Karagama and his team.
