



Rheumatology
Dr Toby Garrood is a Consultant Rheumatologist, based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. He sees patients at 120 Old Broad Street in the City of London, which is part of the London Rheumatology Centre.
He qualified From Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School and then trained in Rheumatology in London and the South East. He obtained an MSc in Rheumatology from King’s College London in 2003 and a PhD from the University of London in 2009.
Dr Garrood is highly experienced in the management of inflammatory arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, localised and widespread musculoskeletal pain, gout, back and neck pain and in treating with joint and soft tissue injection. His current research interests are in inflammatory arthritis, imaging and fibromyalgia. He is also active in medical education and has significant involvement at under and post graduate levels.
