“Dr Giuliani performed umbilical and inguinal hernia operations for my 6 year old son. My child was extremely well cared for by Dr Giuliani and medical team throughout the whole process, from the initial consultation to the post-operation appointment. We have been very pleased with the kind and caring attitude, advice, professionalism and operation results that Dr Giuliani demonstrated. Most importantly, my son was calm, relaxed and had a very quick recovery post the procedures. We will highly recommend Dr Giuliani as a paediatric surgeon.“

    About

Mr Giuliani is Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London (UCL).

Mr Giuliani graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Udine (Italy) in 2000 and earned his Italian Medical Licence in 2001. In December 2006 he became a certified Paediatric Surgeon after a five-year programme at the University of Padova (Italy). He also obtained the United States Medical Licence (USMLE) and he worked for four years at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, USA. From 2007 to 2009, Mr Giuliani was selected for a highly competitive clinical international fellowship in Paediatric Surgery at the Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles. This is one of the best paediatric hospitals in America and the largest on the West Coast. This was an excellent clinical experience for him and he was able to develop outstanding surgical skills in the most challenging subspecialties of paediatric surgery such as neonatal surgery, surgical oncology, paediatric minimally invasive surgery, paediatric trauma, and kidney transplantation.

Mr Giuliani has been living and working in London since 2010. He is currently focusing on advancing the field of paediatric surgery whilst improving the quality of treatment for his young patients. His international background makes Mr Giuliani an experienced Paediatric Surgeon aware of the latest and most advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques (laparoscopy and thoracoscopy) in the field.

Whenever possible, Mr Giuliani offers minimally invasive surgical techniques (keyhole surgery) to reduce scar size, postoperative pain and reduce the length of stay in his young patients.

We are thrilled with the care our daughter Willow has received under paediatric surgeon, Mr Giuliani. Throughout the entire process, from initial consultation to her follow up appointment after surgery, our dealings with Mr Guiliani and his secretary Helen have always been prompt, straight forward and personable. Any questions we had were answered immediately, and we always felt supported and reassured. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Giuliani to others.

Great experience. Very professional, answered all my questions. Waiting time was minimal. My son had a hernia corrected at 4 weeks old and my expectations were met and exceeded by the procedure. He has fully recovered and Dr. Giuliani did an excellent job.

Our baby boy had to see Dr Giuliani and he then underwent surgery twice. We are fully satisfied with the outcome of the surgery first and foremost, but also very much so about the dealings with Dr Giuliani. He has been very pleasant, professional and patient and has given us as parents the support and reassurance we needed during a difficult time. Thank you.
