Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Mr Spencer Hodges is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon currently working at the private practices Harley Street Clinic and BMI The Blackheath Hospital. His current NHS post is King’s College Hospital NHS Trust. His areas of interest include wisdom teeth removal, facial cosmetic treatment, dento-alveolar, facial deformity and orthognathic surgery, facial injuries and trauma, skin cancer and neck lump diagnosis.
Mr Hodges attained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1993, he then completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees in 2000 from University of London. He completed his undergraduate medical training at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Medical & Dental School. He has a Fellowship in Dental Surgery from Royal College of Surgeons of England, 1996. He became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2004 and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Fellow in 2009. He completed a Reconstructive Cosmetics Fellowship in 2010.
Mr Hodges has many professional memberships including British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgeons. He is also interested in research and has published on a wide range of areas within maxillofacial surgery, and regularly teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students and other medical professionals.
