    About

    Mr Simon Levy is a Consultant Opthalmic Surgeon with a special interest in surgery of the front of the eye. During his training, he was selected for prestigious specialist Fellowships at the world renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital and the eminent Gimble Eye Centre in Canada.

    Mr Levy holds the FRCS and FRCOphth diplomas in clinical ophthalmology and a research MD on cornea pathology. He also trained in internal medicine and was awarded the MRCP (UK) diploma.

    Mr Levy's clinical focus is on maximising quality of vision and minimising the dependence on glasses after refractive and cataract surgery. He is also a pioneer in his field having been among the first surgeons in the UK to perform LASIK. He also performed the first no-suture cornea transplant in the UK and advises the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) on cornea implants.
