    About

    Mr Simon Lambert is a Consultant Surgeon with a specialism in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and Trauma Surgery. He is currently based at HCA Healthcare UK.     Mr Lambert qualified in Medicine at University of London, Charing Cross Medical School, in 1984 with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees. Subsequently, he completed an extensive rotational programme in Orthopaedics in London along with a Fellowship in Switzerland. He was appointed consultant in 1996 at the University Hospital of Southampton and received the prestigious North American Travelling Fellowship of the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow in 1998.

    In addition, Mr Lambert is interested in research regarding elbow replacement, the anatomy of the musculocutaneous nerve and more. He has over 100 professional publications, has received many awards including Wessex regional training programme Trainer of the Year 2000 – 2001 and offers courses to GPs regarding examination of the shoulder, the elbow: when to refer and the shoulder: when to refer and more.
