He obtained his medical degree from Queen’s University of Belfast and has over 15 years of experience as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in the NHS. He began his Ophthalmology career at Cheltenham General Hospital and completed his senior training at several London hospitals including Guys and St Thomas' Hospital and in the Northwest. Following completion of his Specialist Registrar training in the Mersey Deanery, he then went on to undertake advanced specialty training in Cornea & Refractive surgery and Oculoplastics. He has also completed a Cornea, Anterior Segment & Refractive Surgery fellowship at the internationally renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
Mr Say Aun Quah has over 20 publications in peer-reviewed academic journals and has presented scientific papers and lectures in Europe and the USA. He is a college tutor for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, a council member of Medical Contact Lens and Ocular Surface Association and is an Examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Mr Quah is a highly experienced and qualified surgeon. I have over the years had the opportunity to work alongside him and seen the results of his expert work. His results are excellent and he is extremely dedicated to his profession. His bedside manner are excellent and his patients have on numerous occasion expressed how grateful they are to him for the care he has provided them. I would not hesitate to have Mr Quah look after my own eyes at any stage.
