“I have been seeing Dr Kazzaz since 2018 for my herniated disc & Sciatica. This was on the NHS initially and was treated via a back injection which lasted just over two years. Unfortunately, the issue returned last year (Sept 21) and I saw Mr Kazzaz privately. My journey with this issue has really affected me as the pain was unbearable and debilitating. Mr Kazzaz explained my options to me and the risks involved, we started with another back injection which gave me about 70% pain relief but I was till unable to walk properly or sit for long. In the end I had no choice but to have the Microdiscectomy. Mr Kazzaz explained the risks to me in detail which I did find a bit scary but all GP's, surgeons etc have to do this so don't be put off by this. Mr Kazzaz is very polite, approachable and listens to your concerns, my only ask is that he gives a little bit more reassurance as I was very anxious having the op. My operation went well with no complications, I am on week 5 of my recovery, I still have a little leg pain and numbness in my foot but was told this may be the case. Mr Kazzaz is a very experienced surgeon and I trust him completely, he has the interest of the patient at heart and will do his best to manage the patient's expectations the best he can -Thank you Mr Kazzaz! :) “
