I cannot recommend Mr Pollock enough! We were very happy with the first consultation last year and again this year. Mr Pollock explains everything very well. I had no reluctance in asking basic questions which he took time to explain in detail. Very easy to talk to, very humble manner yet very professional. Having a teenager with an orthopedic issue can be very hard to tackle but yet Mr Pollock answered all his questions and explained the procedure he would need to use to solve the problem. One feels very comfortable talking to him and I have no reluctance in trusting him operating on my teenager. Mr Pollock is by far the best specialist we have dealt with over the years, from professionalism to manner to expertise.

Mr Pollock was the main specialist in charge of my cancer treatment and surgery. This was a very difficult time for me and I appreciate his openness, willingness to explain the situation in detail, and availability to address my concerns (even in between meetings). He showed the test results and scans and explained clearly what it meant for the treatment, surgery, and the expectations for my recovery. I had many questions throughout the months and I always felt I could ask them openly. He also did an excellent job with the surgery and I've exceeded the expectations with my recovery! I would also like to say a special thanks to Frankie for her support! She was always approachable, addressed any queries promptly, and did that in a very empathetic and kind manner that I highly appreciated in such an emotional time.

Bone Tumour Surgery
I was diagnosed with a Giant Cell Tumour on my Proximal Tibial in January as my knee collapse on 19th of December after being in pain for months. My operation with the NHS was scheduled for May, and I really couldn't wait all this time as I was not able to put any pressure on my leg while I was looking after my two little girls, also knowing this tumour was destroying my bone it was making me very anxious. So I decided to go private with Dr Pollock, and I have to say since the first time I spoke with Frankie I had the feeling I was in good hands, she was very proffesional and helping me out all the way though. I had my first operation (underwent curettage) on 19th of March, two days before lock down and everything went fine thanks to Dr Pollock and Dr Cooper. I had all the post operation appointments required and being able to see Dr Pollock in person during this difficult time it really helped me. Unfortunately when I went for a check in June there was local recurrence of the GCT, once again the operation was scheduled very quickly. I had a proximal tibial replacement surgery on 26th of June, everything went ok with this major surgery. I am recovering slowly, and I am working through rehabilitation with a Phisiotherapist. At the moment I need one crutch to walk, but hopefully next time I see Dr Pollock in January I don't need anything. I can't see how I would have got through this without the great support from Doctor Pollock &

Knee Replacement Orthopaedic Surgery
Mr Pollock is an excellent orthopaedic surgeon. He treated me for two conditions: to remove an intramuscular lipoma and to perform a partial knee replacement. In both instances, he listened carefully to my concerns, conducted appropriate investigations and performed both operations with skill - which gave excellent outcomes. In particular, an allergy to components in both surgeries required a tailor-made approach and meant the procedure (and my nerves) were well managed. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Pollock.

I recently had Knee surgery with Mr Pollock, I can not recommend him and his team enough. Everything was well organised from the start more so given that my surgery was during a pandemic. Mr pollock was informative / helpful and understating every step of the way - I would have no hesitation in recommending him. I also need to mention Frankie his PA , how valuable she is in the process as much as everyone else- very information and organised.

Orthopaedic Surgery
Suffering from a rare nodule in a difficult area behind the knee,I knew that the excision could cause serious complications. I already had seen some top orthopedists in my country and abroad . Some of them had difficulties even to come to a diagnosis, other were reluctant to undertake the risks of such operation. In the first appointment with Dr Pollock I understood that he had deep and solid knowledge of the subject together with great surgical experience. He had studied my case in advance and offered me a clear diagnosis which later was confirmed by the post op biopsy . He answered all my questions with scientific sufficiency ,friendly manner and understanding of the psychological pressure of the patient and his family. After the operation I understood that he is a really talented surgeon: I was waiting at least for some mild post-op neurovascular problems. I had none! Of course I was expecting to be in pain and some weeks with mobility problems. At the second post-op day I returned to my hotel (0,6m) on foot and at the third post-op day I didn’t need painkillers ! It is important to add that after all medical actions I received a detailed written report with all the necessary remarks and instructions. I feel lucky being treated by Dr Pollock. Needed to mention that all the staff at the PG Hospital was well trained and very helpful and the help of Dr Pollock’s personal assistant was valuable.

Knee Surgery PVNS Hoffa's Fat Pad Impingement
I had the pleasure of being treated by Mr Pollock in February 2020. He operated on my knee (he removed a lump of PVNS - a benign tumour). I had never had a general anaesthetic before so was anxious about having surgery. I was so impressed with both Mr Pollock & Mr Cooper (his anaesthetist). They were both incredibly reassuring, explained everything clearly and made me feel very well looked after. I’d highly recommend them both to anyone who needs orthopaedic surgery/consultation. Thank you for everything!
