    About

    Mr Raj Bhalla is a Consultant Rhinologist and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgeon based in Manchester. He is an expert Rhinologist and has specialist interests in surgical technology, simulation and training as well as minimally invasive procedures. Mr Bhalla trained in the North West and spend a year at the University of Alberta Hospital in Canada to train in advanced endoscopic and minimally invasive procedures for the sinuses and anterior skull base.

    Since his appointment as a Consultant, Mr Bhalla has provided comprehensive care for sinus problems and rhinoplasty within the NHS and in private practice using the most up to date technology and techniques. He is also actively involved in teaching and training, and has been an invited speaker at many instructional meetings and courses in the UK and worldwide. He is also a member of several Councils including the British Rhinology Society and The Royal Society of Medicine (Rhinology). His research interests are in the association between sinus disease and asthma, sinus tumours, and the application of new technologies in sinus surgery.
