



Orthopaedic Surgery
Mr Peter Calder is a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon currently working at the private practice The Portland Hospital for Women and Children and his current NHS post is Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust. His areas of specialism is Orthopaedics and his areas of interest include Trauma, limb reconstruction, congenital and limb deformity correction.
Mr Calder graduated from University of London in 1993 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees. He undertook general surgical training on the St Bartholomew’s basic surgical rotation and became a Specialist Orthopaedic Registrar, Royal London Training programme. He has a Fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital in Paediatric Orthopaedics.
Additionally, Mr Calder has published in many peer reviewed scientific journals and is often invited to lecture regarding paediatric conditions. He has many professional memberships including British Society of Children’s Orthopaedic Surgery.
