Mr Athanasias is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist based in London.

He practices in both the NHS and the private sector. He is also a Honorary Senior Lecturer at St George's University of London.

He provides a range of gynaecological services and his main interest is minimal access surgery, colposcopy, management of abnormal smears and early pregnancy complications.

Mr Athanasias is a Leading Specialist in the outpatient treatment of uterine polyps, fibroids and the outpatient treatment of menorrhagia with endometrial ablation under local anaesthetic. Office gynaecology procedures allow the patient to have the diagnosis and treatment in one appointment and return to the daily activities immediately.

Mr Athanasias has a special interest in clinical safety and completed a Diploma in Clinical Risk and Claims Management (London, 2013). He is a member of risk management committees in both the NHS and the private sector (St Helier Hospital, St Anthony's Hospital).

His aim and passion is to provide the best care in a safe clinical environment for his patients.
