



Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Mr. Nicholas Hyde qualified in Dentistry in 1984 and Medicine in 1993 and completed specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2001, he was appointed Consultant and has since held appointments at St. George's Hospital and Croydon University Hospital. In 2006, Mr. Hyde was awarded a Masters Degree in Surgery from the University of London. He sees patients privately at Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon; Princess Grace Hospital, London; Spire St Anthony's Hospital, North Cheam and 30 Devonshire Street, London.
Mr. Hyde is currently the Chair of the South West London Cancer Network for head and neck cancer. He is the Clinical Director of cancer services at St. George's Hospital where he also oversees the Head and Neck Clinical Fellow Programme in Maxillofacial surgery.
Mr. Hyde specialises in a wide range of head and neck diseases from cancers of the head, neck and mouth to wisdom tooth removal. He treats patients with traumatic facial injuries requiring reconstructive surgery as well as lacerations to the face and lips (e.g. caused by an animal bite). He has an interest in cancerous and non-cancerous head and neck skin cancer and anything involving the mouth, tongue, lips, inner cheek and salivary glands. He performs resective and reconstructive surgery for oral cancer.
