“I saw Mr Patel recently for an extremely painful toe nail. Just 6 months before that I had seen another specialist who treated my nail so I was surprised when I started experiencing pain in the area. I went to see Mr Patel who examined the nail and was able to immediately explain the potential root causes behind the sympoms. He then proceeded to perform a small surgery. He was extremely careful, made sure he explained carefully and in detail everything he was about to do and made me feel very comfortable. I didn't experience any pain or discomfort in the days following thw procedure. Three weeks later, the nail looks great and the pain is completely gone! My only regret is that I didn't go to see Mr Patel 6 months ago when the problem occured for the first time.“

    About

    LONDON FOOT CLINIC

We are the original London Foot Clinic established in 1989. We provide comprehensive care with the full scope of podiatric services. However, our speciality is podiatric surgery and
biomechanical management of functional orthopaedic disorders.

Our practice philosophy centres around providing the most up to date and highest quality of treatment. Our approach, however, is to emphasise conservative care whenever possible. In
prescribing treatment, we make every effort to offer the patient alternatives and necessary information so that a properly informed choice of treatment can be mutually agreed upon.

Mr Nayan Patel is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon and a Specialist in Sports injury. He has been in practice since 1983 and is a Fellow of the College of Podiatric Surgeons (UK). He holds NHS consultant podiatric surgeons post with University Hospitals of Leicester
NHS Trust (Alliance), where he performs corrective foot operations. He has been
in private practice since 1989 and with The London Bridge Hospital since 1996.

Nayan Patel is also one of the
Directors of The London Foot Clinic, a state-of-the-art diagnostic centre
for biomechanics and gait analysis in the HCA Outpatients and Diagnostic based
in the iconic building The Shard. HCA Center has inhouse modern diagnostic
facilities. He has specialist interests in biomechanics and its role in the
prevention and management of musculoskeletal disorders. He has extensive
experience in treating sports and occupational injuries. He regularly treats
amateur, professional, national, and international sports participants. Both at
The London Bridge Hospital and at The London Foot Clinic, he works closely with
multi-disciplinary medical, surgical and rehabilitation teams and holds weekly
joint clinics with sports physician and physiotherapy team in the Shard.

Nayan Patel also lectures regularly at national and international
levels. He is a founding member and a trustee of the UK-based international charity,

Mr Patel is very caring and is clearly extremely thorough and very much focuses on understanding the root cause of the problem. He was able to diagnose my plantar fasciitis and prescribe the appropriate treatment to relive the symptoms. I would strongly recommend Mr Patel.
