



Orthopaedic Surgery
Mr Laurence James is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. He is clinical director of Orthopaedics at University Hospital Lewisham & Greenwich trust and an Honorary Lecturer at The Institute of Orthopaedics, University College London, as well as being a team doctor to Saracens RFC.
Mr. James qualified in medicine from University College London. He completed his postgraduate training at University College Hospital, London and Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. He then went on to undertake a Specialist Fellowship Training in Foot & Ankle Surgery at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London and Southmead Hospital, Bristol.
Mr. James is active in research and has been widely published in peer review journals, has presented at international conferences and written book chapters in major orthopaedic textbooks.
Mr. James is a specialist in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including arthroscopy, bunions, toe deformity, tendon and ligament injury, ankle replacements, achilles and plantar fasciitis.
