Juling Ong is a Craniofacial and Paediatric Plastic Surgeon at Great Ormond street Hospital for children in London. He trained in London and completed the specialty examinations in plastic surgery in 2012. Following this, he was awarded the Ellison-Cliffe Travelling Fellowship by the Royal Society of Medicine to undertake further subspecialist craniofacial and paediatric plastic surgery training in the United States. This 12-month American Council of Graduate Medical Education accredited fellowship culminated in the award of a Diploma from the University of Texas in Austin, in Craniofacial, Cleft and Paediatric Plastic Surgery.
In 2014 he was awarded a Fellowship in Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery by the National Training Interface Group of the United Kingdom and then undertook a further Adult and Paediatric Craniofacial Fellowship in Chelsea in London prior to starting Independent practice.
Juling is focused on the development of clinical services and high quality care through collaboration, expertise and innovation and was recently awarded an Innovations grant to develop the first 3D facility service at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He currently leads this service as well as being an active clinician in a number of multi-specialty clinics for children with complex reconstructive needs.
He is dedicated to the improvement of global health and regularly participates in humanitarian missions around the world.
