



Orthopaedic Surgery
Mr Julian Leong is a Consultant Spinal Surgeon and the Surgical Tutor at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore.
His specialist Orthopaedic training was based at the UCLH/Middlesex rotation, including Spinal surgery training at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Whipps Cross University Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore. He completed fellowships at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Norman Capener Fellowship), and Hokkaido University (Sapporo, Japan).
Mr Leong is also an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at UCL, with research interests in Surgical Technology and Surgical Skills Training and Assessment, completing his PhD thesis in Hand-eye coordination in Surgery at Imperial College London.
