Mr Ian Lilly is a Paediatric ENT Consultant Surgeon, with over 15 years of experience in treating paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat issues. He sees private patients at ent4kids 61, Wimpole St, The Portland and Cromwell Hospitals.

He gained his primary medical qualification at the University of London, which he followed with basic and specialist training posts at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, St Bartholomew's Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. He also undertook fellowships with the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and the Royal College of Otolaryngologists. Since qualifying, Mr Lily has completed over 4000 tonsillectomy operations, 3000 adenoidectomy operations and over 2000 grommet operations.

For 7 years Ian has been carrying out the newer, minimally invasive, coblation intra-capsular technique for tonsillectomy. This gives better outcomes for children, including less pain in the post operative period, than techniques done previously.
