I am delighted to write this review. I have been one of Mr Attar’s patients for over two years. He treated me for bladder cancer in September 2017 at The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Since then I return for regular check-up cystoscopies. He is always so kind and friendly and he immediately puts me at ease. I feel totally confident under his care because I know I am being wonderfully looked after. In mid-October I noticed a warning sign and I telephoned Mr Attar’s very kind PA. Within an hour I was on my way to The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for a test. A short while later Mr Attar arranged for me to have a CT scan. This showed two kidney stones - one of which was large and could have been very troublesome. Two weeks later I attended The Princess Grace Hospital for the first of two procedures - the second one following the week later. Mr Attar and all the staff were amazing. The kidney stones have gone and I am feeling fit and well. Fantastic result! It gives me great pleasure to recommend Mr Attar. He is a very special doctor.

I ended up in the care of Mr Attar after kidney stone attack and emergency nephrostomy procedure.I spent in the hospital two weeks with sepsis- during this time Mr Attar took the trouble to come and see me every day. He was kind, considerate and patient in explaining in detail the next step of my recovery - the operation to break the stones. He genuinely cares about his patients,is very professional and very approachable. He took the effort to contact my worried husband and assured him about the progress of my treatment.Apart from being an excellent doctor he is a wonderful, compassionate human being.I can not praise him highly enough and would recommend him to anybody in need of good urologist.

Dr Attar is an amazing doctor. I was admitted for my first kidney stone at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and was so grateful that he was my doctor. He was very professional, he reassured me and explained to me the process to remove the stone. He did everything he could to proceed with a CT scan and a procedure to remove the stone and then the stent as quickly as possible so I could go on holiday with my family without worrying about anything. He was also very caring and attentive about how I was feeling before and after the procedure and was following up to find out how I was which made me feel very safe about being under his care. I could not thank Dr Attar and his team enough for their professionalism, clear communication, amazing care and kindness. I would highly recommend Dr Attar. THANK YOU! MERCI!

I have suffered from kidney stones for the first in my life and it was quite a big issue because the stone was big and stuck in the narrowest part of the ureter and this was making the kidney struggling in passing urine. Since the first contact with Mr Attar PA to arrange the necessary visits, throughout all the passages - in the surgery theater and at home between the two procedures I underwent - I have always felt in experienced and professional hands, aware of the various options in order to make the proper decisions and treated with great care. Thanks a lot!

Mr Attar took on my case when I was rushed in with Sepsis. He was unhurried, calm and confident when listening to me, which I found very reassuring at a distressing time. He made the effort to see me every day whilst I was under his care in hospital. I was greatly encouraged by his team of trusted nurses - they embodied the same high standards, patient respect and care - which made what was a harrowing experience as comfortable as could be. He was always accessible by phone. And his contact list of medical experts was second to none, as I was thoroughly and rapidly checked by his colleagues - also leading professionals - to rule out other complications. I found Mr Attar to be genuine, caring and highly diligent.

Dr Attar was simply amazing in taking care of me throughout my quite long stay at the Chelsea & Westminster hospital. I arrived crawling though A&E with a complicated infection and kidney stones and left the hospital feeling confident and well to get back to live life fully. I cannot express enough gratitude to Mr Attar and his team in urology for their authentic care and dedication.

More than satisfied with Mr Attar, he is a wonderful, kind, compassionate gentleman. He was recommended to me by consultant urologists at both Royal Free and Clementine Churchill hospital. I felt completely confident before and after my operation as he reassured me of the procedure and explained the treatment plan. To feel so at ease is a blessing. He did a procedures for kidney stones for me following endless UTIs and being very ill. Mr Attar checked on my situation and recovery both as an inpatient and outpatient. He genuinely cares for his patient's care and was accessible by phone and email throughout my care. I would highly recommend him.

I cannot praise enough Mr Attar for his professional and ethical approach. I had an enlarged prostate that needed surgery. Being a surgeon restricted my available slots for surgery and post op recovery. I therefore opted for the Princess Grace Hospital instead of the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital that was offered. Mr Attar was very caring and attentive. He explained the procedure and reassured me. His explanations gave me a feeling of “being looked after “. The whole experience was seamless and my surgery a success. I will most certainly recommend Mr Attar.

Following the finding during a dipstick test of a small trace of (non-visible) blood in my urine, my GP recommended an immediate referral to a Consultant Urologist for tests (nonchalantly referees to by my GP as a ‘Cancer Referral’). I was of course worried at what had been discovered and set about trying to find a specialist with immediate availability. There were a number of specialists (identified through the Wellington) with the ability to see me within 24 hours, but most of their secretaries said that they wouldn’t be able to conduct the actual scans / tests (and a cystoscopy) for a week or so. Mr Attar was able to see me urgently and would, I was told, do everything possible to ensure scans / tests could be conducted swiftly. Based on the glowing reviews online for Mr Attar’s services, I decided to book the 6pm appointment with him. He advised that I needed both a Cystoscopy and ultrasound. He made no promises, but in view of how worried I was, he said he’d try and see if they could be arranged for the following morning. He took my number and, the following morning, I received a call first thing and was asked to travel to the hospital ASAP. I had the procedure and scan that morning and felt that Mr Attar was calm and reassuring throughout. Thankfully, all was fine. However, Mr Attar’s service, his desire to put me at ease, his reassurance and his advice, were absolutely first rate. I’d highly recommend him as a personable, knowledgable expert in whom I quickly had complete trust. I’m very grateful for the effort he put into ensuring my diagnosis was dealt with extremely quickly (I had a nervous 36 hours, rather than a nervous 2 weeks) so that my mind could be put at ease. I highly recommend engaging his services should anyone require a consultant urologist.

I am very thankful that somehow I ended up in the care of Mr Attar. I feel incredibly lucky, that when my rather complicated kidney stone arrived and I crawled into the A&E of Chelsea and Westminster, it was Mr Attar in attendance. I was concerned about having an operation of any kind but he was thorough and professional and I felt very comfortable throughout. It is clear that he genuinely cares about his patients and that they are comfortable during the experience they're going through. The team at Chelsea and Westminster were fantastic and looked after me very well, for the duration of my stay. Lisa Best in his office was also incredibly kind and helped me to rapidly continue follow-up treatment at the Princess Grace Hospital, which again was a very good experience. Mr Attar came to see me regularly and his communication was excellent, calling often to check on progress. He also indulged my interest in the procedures and took the time to explain in detail what would be happening. I have much enjoyed our conversations and I am very thankful for all he has done for me. I could not recommend enough.

I can hardly put my gratitude to Mr Attar properly into words. I was admitted to hospital experiencing indescribable pain and his kindness, thoughtfulness, professionalism (in what could have been really horribly undignified) has left me feeling nothing more than incredibly fortunate in being treated by him. Apart from his extremely high qualifications it is his humanity, humour and warmth that single him out as a truly unique doctor.

What more can I say about Doctor Attar which has not been said before. This doctor is truly a God send. This was the first time I have ever had a urological procedure and Dr.Attar was very approachable, kind and attentive to my issues and concerns. He introduced himself with such warmth, that he instantly put me into a sense of ease and comfort that made me feel I was in such good hands. He explained the procedure to me in a clear and thoughtful manner and I felt that any issues or concerns that I had, I could easily speak to him about them. The procedure was carried out very professionally and flawlessly and his post-operative care and bedside manner was impeccable. He may be a high ranking Consultant but he always has time for his patients and he always makes sure that he checks to see how were are doing after any procedure, before we are allowed to leave the hospital no matter how busy he is. I hope Chelsea and Westminster really does recognise the work that this man does for his patients and realise how much he is valued and appreciated.

Dr Hama Attar is a true expert and highly professional in his field. He listened to my consent when I was addmited, evaluated my history and all my CT scans with through care. In fact his upmost care and attention identified another stone which was not identified previously and by including the procedures he saved me a revisit for another procedure which I am truly thankful to him. Doctor Hama Attar's care and attention has been crucial in my recovery from a potentially complicated kidney stone condition. I arrived at the Chelsea and Westminster hospital in a rather critical condition back in April. Doctor Attar has been resposible for my care since then and i had a successful kidney stone removal surgery on 20th Aug and i have now made a full and speedy recovery. This doctor is a blessed soul and God has put special healing powers in his treatment. May he continue to spread his healings to other patients and may he be the most successful doctor ever in his chosen field. Amen!!

Mr Attar was an exceptional consultant from the offset. Highly professional and incredibly caring you can tell that this isn't just a job for him. With this being my first surgery I was reasonably apprehensive, but he and the team at the Princess Grace Hospital put my mind at rest. The operation was a success, and three weeks later I feel grateful that I had him as my consultant. It's safe to say that the medical world needs more Mr Attar's.
