Top feedback

“I have been trying to find an answer for my problem for 4 years. Within a 40 minute consultation I had everything I needed. Professor Vaz is simply the nicest consultant I have met. He was welcoming, friendly, reassuring on top of clearly being an expert in is field. He listened, was genuinely interested and explained all options and information in a way that was clear and straight forward. Having got straight to the root of the problem, I now have a resolution. Pretty life changing actually. I cannot recommend Francis enough, just wonderful.“

    About

Leading Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon, Professor Francis Vaz offers a comprehensive ENT service with specialist areas of expertise in throat, parotid, thyroid, voice and laryngeal surgery. Professor Vaz serves for the NHS at the highly esteemed University College London Hospital, and is based privately at a number of clinics around London, including The Harley Street Clinic, Sydney Street Outpatients and Diagnostic Centre, The Wellington Hospital, Devonshire Diagnostic Centre, Princess Grace Hospital and HCA UK at University College London Hospital.

After achieving his primary medical qualification with distinction in Clinical Therapeutics in 1994 from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital Medical School, Professor Vaz embarked upon an extensive period of training at several leading centres of excellence in England, including The Medway Maritime Hospital, The William Harney Hospital and The Royal Sussex County Hospital. He also ventured further afield to Brisbane in Australia, where he successfully completed a highly esteemed fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery, before becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Professor Vaz is dedicated to providing each of his patients with first-class care. He has gained comprehensive, invaluable experience throughout his career as a surgeon and maintains an excellent reputation, not only amongst his patients, but also amongst colleagues in his field.

It is important that HCA is transparent about our relationship with those doctors who provide us with clinical guidance on delivering the best possible care to patients and operating our hospitals safely and efficiently. We set out here some of the ways in which we work together and the amount we pay this doctor for such services.
