    Mr Norman-Taylor is a bone and joint doctor (Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon) specialising in children. He works at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust as well as The Portland Hospital for Women and Children where he sees private patients.

    Mr Norman-Taylor trained at St Bartholomew's Hospital London, qualifying as a doctor in 1988. He worked in London until 1993 when he passed the Fellowship examinations for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He then spent 5 years in East Anglia, including a year of research at Cambridge University, and passed the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Trauma and Orthopaedics. The years 1999 and 2000 were spent in Melbourne and Toronto, where he specialised in children's orthopaedics. His first consultant job was in Bristol at the Royal Hospital for Children. He moved back to London in 2003. He has published in peer reviewed journals on children's orthopaedics, and presented to learned societies. He teaches at membership and fellowship level for the Royal College examinations. He is a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) grant holder and chief investigator for a current double-blind randomised placebo controlled trial.

    He is a noted expert in the field of childhood orthopaedics and has a specialist interest in limb reconstruction and the treatment of hip dysplasia and foot deformity. Mr Norman-Taylor is also available for Paediatric Medical Negligence cases and provides medicolegal advice for both adult and paediatric trauma.
