“On August 13 2019 I was involved in a major motorcycle accident, and my injuries included serious open fractures to both wrists, a fractured pelvis, ruptured bladder, and numerous other minor injuries. I was airlifted from the crash scene in Kent, to Kings College hospital, where, on arrival, my condition was assessed as extremely serious. At the time I knew little of what was happening, but at an early stage Mr Fitzgerald O’Connor became involved with the initial reconstruction of my forearms. My arm injuries were horrendous, and during the first operation he was able to stabilise both wrists, and affixed a temporary plate to my right wrist. When I saw him during follow up appointments he was incredibly reassuring, and inspired much confidence in me. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Prior to the accident I had had very little surgery, and had rarely been to hospital as a patient, and Mr Fitzgerald O’Connor’s calm, professional and confident manner helped me greatly. I needed another major operation to graft bone from my leg into my wrist, and I was so glad that Mr Fitzgerald O’Connor took the lead on this. Again, he took all the time I needed to explain the complex procedure and put me at ease. When this operation was completed I can honestly say I was totally pain free. Amazing. He then completed two ‘tidy up’ operations, - one to reduce the bulk on a skin flap operation, and one to reduce a large swelling from my leg. Again, I was so glad that he took the responsibility for these operations, both of which were carried out without a hitch. I am now well on my way to recovery. Although I will never be as good as I was, I can honestly say that I am far better than I initially expected, bearing in mind my horrific injuries. I can do far more than I ever expected and I am so grateful to him for that. When I was laying in my hospital bed after the accident I thought my life as I knew it was over. I could do nothing, - I couldn’t even do something as simple as scratching my nose. Thanks to Mr Fitzgerald O’Connor and his colleagues, I have for my life back, and I cannot thank him enough for that. I trust him implicitly, and I am so grateful that he took the time to use his incredible skills to fix me. I cannot commend him highly enough.“

Mr Edmund Fitzgerald O'Connor was the 4th breast augmentation consultation I had and the decision to proceed with him was a very easy one. He was honest about the risks and what could be achieved, I felt comfortable and at ease each time I saw him and I was confident that he would give me the natural result I wanted. He did an amazing job and at 8 weeks post op I am beyond happy with the results. My scars are small, neat and perfectly in the crease and the shape and size are exactly what I had hoped for (if not better!). Highly recommend! :)

Had a tummy tuck with Mr Fitzgerald O'Connor at the welbeck. Had seen a few people before going ahead with him, am really pleased he managed to give me the low scar I wanted. Was a little bit fussy about what the belly button would look like but it is really natural and cute. So happy! Am sending my girlfriends to him!

Mr O'Connor was an excellent doctor. He was extremely professional, polite, very comforting and explained every single detail of my operation and the process that he was going to follow. His post surgery and recovery instructions were clear and precise and he was constantly checking on me during recovery and responded to all my questions and requests. I would highly recommend Mr. O'Connor.

I’ve had over 20+ surgeries, I can confidently say that Edmund Fitzgerald O'Connor has been by far my favourite surgeon. I’m very happy with my results. He’s kept his promises and has achieved what was desired by myself. He was very realistic on what was possible to achieve in my case. He always went above and beyond during consultations/review appointments. Always was very detailed and never ‘sold a dream’. Three words to describe Dr Edmund Fitzgerald O'Connor would be; highly skilled, realistic & very passionate at his job.

Over the moon with my results already. I am one week post-op for breast reduction and lift from 36 E/F to approx. B/C. I had two consultations in the months leading up to the operation with Mr Fitzgerald O'Connor, a pre-op consultation on the day and excellent follow up day after the surgery. He has answered all questions I've had quickly and thoroughly. Mr Fitzgerald O'Connor is very thorough, highly personable, clear and (as a very nervous patient) put me at ease immediately - which is invaluable. I couldn't recommend him highly enough - I'll definitely be in touch with him if I need anything else in the future. The surgery has already been completely life-changing. An excellent doctor and surgeon - an enormous thank you!
