Mr David Houlihan-Burne has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2005 and is currently working within the private sector. He has clinics at both the BMI Bishops Wood Hospital and BMI The Chiltern Hospital. He covers all aspects of knee surgery and has surgical interests on knee cartilage and ligament injuries.
Mr Houlihan-Burne qualified in Medicine from Imperial College Medical School in 1995. Following this, he undertook his postgraduate medical training in London and his fellowship training covering Knee and Sports Injury Surgery at the Jonathan Webb Clinic, Bristol and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
His areas of interest include knee pain, meniscal disease, sports injuries, cartilage repair, hip replacement, knee replacement surgery, ligament reconstruction and knee arthroscopy. Furthermore, he holds a membership with several organisations including the British Orthopaedic Association.
