I am not sure which category to place my condition. The simple explanation is that I had a calcified cyst growing on a disc which was permanently pushing on a nerve.

I had an intramedullary cavernoma excised by Professor Choi. The surgery was an absolute success and I can not thank him enough for what he did for me although I still have a long way to go before full recovery. Professor Choi is an amazing doctor with a professional, caring and calm manner. He has a very high standard in treating his patients and I felt like I am in the safest possible hands from the outset of our meeting. I would not hesitate a second to recommend him for complex spinal issues like mine. The world would have been a much better place if there were more people around like Professor Choi.

Professor Choi explained everything very clearly and was very patient with my indecision, and empathetic with my anxiety, allowing me to come to the decision for surgery in my own time. I felt like I was in very competent hands with him conducting the surgery.

I was able to trust Prof. Choi’s diagnosis and treatment plan with great confidence. He listened intently, reviewed the medical scans, explained his diagnosis politely and was friendly. His plan to operate in May following Covid-19 vaccinations and reduced death rate was perfect. Many thanks for helping me get better and for all your professional diligence.
