Mr Cyrus Kerawala is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon based at the Royal Marsden Hospital. He has a specialist interest in head and neck cancer, salivary gland disease and facial skin cancer. He also has extensive experience in trans-oral robotic surgery and facial plastic surgery.

He graduated with honours degrees in both Medicine and Dentistry from the University of London. During this time Mr Kerawala was awarded 17 undergraduate prizes. Following training in general surgery and neurosurgery, he spent five years specialising in head and neck surgery in the North East of England. In 1998 he passed the Intercollegiate Examination in Maxillofacial Surgery and has been Specialist Register of the General Medical Council since August 1999. He worked as Consultant at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford and North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke for a number of years, before being appointed to the Head and Neck Unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital in 2008.

Mr Kerawala is actively involved in research and has written numerous book chapter and also authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications. In 2001 he carried out the first trans-oral robotic resection of a tumour in the UK. In the same year he was featured in The Times newspaper as one of Britain's 50 top surgeons.
