



Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Mr Cornelius Kelleher is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Guy’s & St Thomas’s Hospital, where he has practised and worked since 1998. His previously studied at medical school at King's College Hospital School of Medicine, London, before later completing a research fellowship in Urogynaecology under the supervision of Professor Linda Cardozo.
A proponent of natural, uncomplicated and complex obstetric practice, Mr Kelleher has forged close links with supporting midwives, neonatologists, anaesthetists, aroma therapists, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, and pregnancy massage specialists. This truly holistic and patient-centred approach to healthcare allows him to offer a complete package of care, which encompasses a multitude of patient requirements.
Currently Mr Kelleher runs the urogynaecology service at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Kelleher looks after patients with both prolapse and bladder problems, and also works with a colorectal surgeon for more complex pelvic floor disorders which involve the bowel. Added to this, he also treats patients with common gynaecological problems such as menstrual disorders, hormonal disorders and endometriosis.
An avid supporter of the importance of teaching, Mr Kelleher teaches both nationally and internationally on his specialty and it should come as no surprise that he has published extensively in this field.
