Prostate Cancer
As all the men in my family have had prostate cancer I was advised to get regular check ups despite being in my early 40s. My GP noticed an irregularity and off I went to there Prostate Centre to Christian Brown. He is excellent, very thorough and spent the time to go through the results. I haven’t required any procedures though, just ongoing monitoring.

UTI Prostate Cancer PSA
I have been a longstanding patient at The Prostrate Centre but have only made the acquaintance of Mr Brown following the retirement of Mr Kirby. I think I, and Mr Brown, felt this would be a long term but hopefully uneventful relationship given our joint understanding my prostrate had been very stable and was the subject of an active surveillance strategy. All that turned on it's head at Christmas with a UTI and an increase in my PSA from 3.5 to 9.7. Mr Brown thoroughly explained his thoughts, sought my approval and then initiated a course of intrusive tests including urine flow tests, endoscopy, ultrasound, MRI and plate biopsy which enabled his to give a confident diagnosis that the causes of the elevated PSA was the UTI and that our active surveillance strategy could be maintained. This was done in very professional manner, with the full support and confidence of my wife and I, and I can highly recommend his services.
