Charles Imber is extremely personable, has a great bedside manner, explained everything very clearly and was extremely efficient. I had my gall bladder removed by him with keyhole surgery. Went home the same day. Little pain. The wounds healed quickly and are now barely noticeable. As someone regularly performs 24 hour liver transplants, this no doubt was about as basic as it gets but I never got te impression that he treated my procedure with any less seriousness as he would something much more serious. I would highly recommend his and his team.

Mr. Charles Imber is an extremely professional Doctor and very knowledgeable in his field, who within the first meeting immediately put me at ease with the surgery I was going to have. He explained the entire process in detail covering all the pros and cons which instilled a great deal of confidence in me. The surgery was very well done and the procedure went on as Mr. Imber had outlined. The scar has healed beautifully and I have had no untoward issues with my recovery process. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Imber. Thank you Mr. Imber and your very able personal assistant. J.W.

Charles is unlike any other person I’ve ever met before, he is truly one of a kind. From the moment I received my diagnosis and was referred to Mr Imber, I felt immediately at ease, well informed and comforted by himself and his team. Mr Imber expertly performed a Whipple procedure, leaving an unbelievably minimal and neat scar for such a procedure. My friends and family simply can’t believe the quality and how well done it has been. Mr Imber visited every day in hospital to keep me informed and assured, answering every question and truly became part of the family throughout my weeks in hospital and aftercare. I feel truly blessed to have been lucky enough to have Mr Imber as my doctor/surgeon and will be forever greatful for his hard work, friendly nature and utter expertise. He has changed my life for the better and thanks to him I am speeding through recovery!

Mr Imber and his team are nothing short of Excellent. Mr Imber himself is not only an extremely skilled surgeon ( his expertise saved me from at least an extra few days in hospital) but also is so personable and easy to talk to ,and certainly made me feel very confident and reassured . His secretary Jane is an absolute star on so many levels . I definitely wouldn’t want to go anywhere else and thoroughly recommended.

    Diaphragmatic endometriosis
Mr Imber is the most caring doctor/ surgeon I have ever seen. I was referred to him for thoracic, epigastric and shoulder pain, combined at times with difficulty breathing. These symptoms have plagued me for the last 15 year, at times I was barely able to get out of bed. He is the first doctor to listen and believe I was truly in pain, and that these symptoms could be caused by diaphragmatic endometriosis, in spite of the lack of diagnostic evidence. He agreed to operate and clearly outlined all risks. He operated on me, found and removed the endometriosis from my diaphragm and I was discharged less than 24 hours later. 2 weeks later I am totally free of the hellish pain that has impacted so hugely on my life for over 15 years. I am supremely grateful to this wonderful surgeon for giving me back my life.

    Umbilical (belly-button) Hernia
I had a revised umbilical hernia operation with Mr. Imber. I initially went to see him to get his opinion on whether I needed a full abdominoplasty to correct my hernia and Diastasis Recti. I had already done an umbilical hernia 4 years ago with another doctor but it sadly came back. After a thorough examination, Mr. Imber suggested I only do the hernia operation. He was able to correct my hernia and the separation in my muscles with a small and barely visible scar above my belly button. The recovery was longer than expected, but I am so pleased with the result and with the fact that I don’t have a hip to hip sized scar ( had I gone for an abdominoplasty). Mr. Imber is the go to doctor if you have a hernia; and I have seen so many other doctors!

Can't recommend Dr. Imber highly enough. He was thorough in his explanations and was kind enough to accommodate my surgery, even though it meant he needed to stay late one night. My recovery has been smooth and I would without doubt, recommend him for hernia surgery.

Dr Imber performed a Whipple operation on me. I have been under his care for the last 4 years. Everything was perfect from the moment I was referred to him until after the operation’s follow ups. I am seeing dr Imber regularly every 6-9 month and would like to say that he is not only a fantastic and super experienced surgeon, but also a great person. I would strongly recommend him to anyone who has any Gastroenterological issues and/or was referred to any kind of operations in this areas. I am very grateful to him for everything he did and is doing for me!
