Mr Charles Bain

Mr Charles Bain is a consultant plastic surgeon with extensive experience in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. He undertook his medical degree at Bristol University, where he also graduated with BSc Medical Ethics. After graduation Mr. Bain relocated to London where he did his plastic surgery training.

Mr. Bain was mentored in cosmetic surgery by internationally renowned plastic surgeons in London at Wellington Hospital. He continued his fellowship training in hand and wrist surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne Australia before returning to the UK to Guys' and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust where he took up his consultant post.

Mr. Bain is highly skilled and educated in his field, having completed a Masters degree in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery with distinction and is also active in the world of research where he has published chapters in books and papers relevant to his subspecialist fields of aesthetic surgery and hand surgery. Mr. Bain is among the most qualified hand surgeons in the UK, having completed the Hand Surgery Diploma, the highest subspecialty qualification in hand surgery. Mr Bain also teaches plastic surgery and has a passion for training the new generation of plastic surgeons.
