“Mr Chitnavis ... my earth angel! My walking had been deteriorating for some time when I was finally referred to Mr C just before Coronavirus lockdown. By the time I saw him I was virtually wheelchair bound. The hospitals were within two days of lockdown and he moved heaven and earth to get me in and operated on 24th March. However, he didn't rush! I had a dislocated shoulder (caused by one of my many falls) and also suffer from irritable airways. He checked with shoulder surgeons to discuss my positioning and spoke to various doctors I have seen re my irritable airways over the last ten years ... no stone was left unturned before the operation. Even more that all this, his bedside manner was amazing, he cared and I knew it. The operation was a fantastic success, as soon as I awakened I could feel the sheets touching my legs which I hadn't felt in quite a while. From there I started walking slowly and am now able to walk without a stick, climb stairs and just live a normal life .... thank you so much Mr C! “

I was overwhelmed with Mr Chitnavis's care and quality of expertise while being diagnosed with a meningioma on my spinal cord. From diagnosis through to surgery he put me at ease and surgery could not have been more successful. He managed to remove all of the growth meaning I am tumor free. I cannot thank him and his team enough!!!

I was pleased with my operation in August, it went extremely well. I already feel so much better and I am so very grateful to Mr Chitnavis. I cannot thank him enough for his expertise and remarkable skills. Obviously a first-class Neurosurgeon and it was my absolute privilege to be his patient. I want to also thank Mr Chitnavis and his team for making all the excellent arrangements for my operation which went so very smoothly and exactly according to plan. I am most grateful and really appreciate all of the outstanding planning and organising skills.

Bhupal Chitnavis is a breed apart from many other surgeons in that not only is he a highly skilled and consummate professional but he is also a man of considerable humility and humanity. He is also a great communicator, putting one at ease all times and he clearly has considerable compassion for the suffering of his patients. I had experienced debilitating back and leg pain for 30 years and had undergone 5 previous spinal surgeries. After such a history I was wary about further intervention but from the moment I went under Mr Chitnavis's care I felt I was totally safe in his hands. Mr Chitnavis undertook a complex procedure and it has changed my life - indeed it has given my life back to me. This was all some years ago and recently I have returned to see him as I am experiencing problems in my neck. Again Mr Chitnavis has carefully and thoughtfully reviewed the situation and is initially taking a conservative approach the management of the problem. In short I have utter confidence in the man and as I professionally I am a retired osteopath both I and many of my colleagues have recommended him to patients and all the feedback has been exemplary. I would recommend him to anyone

I recently underwent a microdiscectomy in my L4/L5 lumbar area through Mr Chitnavis. This is my 9th procedure and I'm aware that patents can, more often than not in my experience, be oversold outcomes. Refreshingly, Mr Chitnavis spent a long time going through the various potential risks and benefits to ensure I was completely aware of what I was letting myself in for. The surgery went well and I am recovering swiftly. My osteopath attended the surgery and was impressed by the length of time and care Mr Chitnavis took to remove all the fragments from my spine. Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome and Mr Chitnavis is an extremely pleasant gentleman to deal with.
