



Orthopaedic Surgery
Mr Ben Spiegelberg is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon currently working at the private practices Lister Hospital and Spire Bushey Hospital. His current NHS post is West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust. His areas of specialism are the hip and knee and his areas of interest include painful hip and knee joints, hip dysplasia and revision knee replacement.
Mr Spiegelberg attained his primary qualifications Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees in 2004 from St. Marys’ Hospital, in London. He has trained at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, in Stanmore and Specialist Registrar training on the Oxford registrar rotation centred at Oxford University. He has also attained an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship in Canada.
Additionally, Mr Spiegelberg is interested in research regarding topics including robotic knee surgery and effects of metal wear debris. He has many publications is scientific journals. He has also received many awards including James Turner Travelling Fellowship Award and Best Poster Presentation at European Musculo-Skeletal Oncological Society.
