“Mr Asif Haq is a consummate professional - an incredibly experienced surgeon, who is both considerate and compassionate. Despite undergoing surgery which was not only unexpected, but occurred during covid times, he ensured he was regularly in touch, and that I was well informed through the process, from pre surgery through to excellent after care. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been under his care during this challenging time, and would highly recommend him.“

Absolute first class treatment from Mr Haq and his PA Rona. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. If you are experiencing symptoms, however minor, then do get them checked out.

Considerate, Full of Compassion and care. Completely competent. Excellent top notch surgical skills. Selfless. True Gentleman. I met this wonderful surgeon who gave me nothing but much of his own time and expertise above and beyond my operation. Made sure I was operated on quickly in Covid times, and his workmanship - thorough and clean that even afterwards I was not in much pain and hardly in any need for analgesia. The aftercare was next to none. He was so empathic and caring and with a bedside manner hardly seen in a surgeon. As a GP I have come across many good and caring surgeons and he is definitely one of the upper class general surgeons in his field. I have been so lucky in my dire emergency need to find this true gentleman and excellent surgeon and have his care and attention. I cannot recommend him highly enough. You will never be scared in an operation under his hands and I wasn't he made me so comfortable throughout the whole process.

Mr Haq was brilliant. I had been unknowingly suffering from haemorrhoids and a severe anal fissure for over a year before I came to see him. GPs kept dismissing me and prescribing creams which made no difference. Mr Haq was extremely attentive, listened to my problem, and after undertaking a physical examination he explained to me clearly my issues and the surgical solution. I felt completely informed and at ease throughout the whole process. This was not only due to Mr Haq but also his amazing PA, Rona, who made me feel so comfortable. I could not recommend Mr Haq and his team enough - my quality of life has improved tenfold thanks to his work.

Mr Haq was always extremely professional and explained clearly what would be happeing with my surgery. That was nearly two months ago and the surgery seems to have resolved the issue with no abnormal side effects (like infection). I would highly recommend Mr Haq to anyone who requires surgery of the type I had (bilateral groin hernia).

A very positive encounter right from the beginning. very quick getting me examined and further examined. He and his team supporting the procedure when in hospital were all excellent and made me feel very at ease throughout. Mr Haq has been my thoughtful consultant since 2014 when he diagnosed that I had anal cancer. He was so caring and supportive especially as my son was doing his final Masters Degree exams and I felt that he should be the first to know. So for the next two days, Mr Haq kept in contact by phone to make sure I was alright. Mr Haq explained the process to me very clearly; operations and all that entailed, chemo and radio therapies and repeated very patiently when I wasn't able to take in all the information, He has always been very approachable and I know that if I was worried about anything, all I had to do was to pick up the phone and he would be there. Hopefully, I'll be signed off in 6 months. I won't miss the cancer but him.
