



General Surgery
Mr Andrew Williams is a Consultant Colorectal & General Surgeon. He is based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and also sees patients privately, including at The London Bridge Hospital. His specialist areas include pelvic floor surgery and assessment and anal fistula disease.
He was appointed a Consultant in 2003 and he is the Clinical Director of the Pelvic Floor Unit and the Lead Clinician for the enhanced recovery programme for patients undergoing major colorectal surgery. Mr Williams also has interests in treatment and surgery for inflammatory bowel disease, recurrent Crohn’s disease and ileo-anal pouch reconstruction for ulcerative colitis. He also further interest in pelvic floor pathology, surgery for pelvic floor dysfunction and complex anal sepsis fistulae disease. Mr Williams is highly experienced in endoscopy, colonoscopy, gastroscopy OGD, Fkexible sigmoidoscopy and hernia repairs.
