Mr Fitzgerald was very reassuring which goes a long way with someone like myself who suffers with anxiety. He made sure I was aware of every step of the procedure. Mr Fitzgerald’s team are equally as professional and caring. Thank you all for looking after me !

Very helpful and understanding. Listened to me when I mentioned possible vaccine injury and extreme pain in bicep area of arm and gave me a broader understanding regarding a possible link to pain in bicep to frozen shoulder. It was a relief when Mr Fitzgerald suggested an MRI scan which was affordable and this was arranged for the next day. It took three days, Mon - Wednesday, to see Mr Fitzgerald and to have a follow up consultation. I am really pleased to read a thorough and comprehensive report sent to myself and to Dr Baxter (GP) which I can understand. I am also relieved that it is not pain from osteoarthritis as suggested by one GP. I have an appointment booked for an injection and follow up physio which is in a weeks time and this again is something that I have found a reassuring as the pain was so bad at one point that I thought I would be off long term sick from school, which is not possible in the nature of the job that I do. I do support the NHS and all the expertise that it has to offer but I also recognise that I am extremely fortunate that I have been able to resolve this problem through private care.

I think Mr. Andrew Fitzgerald is one of the most pleasant consultants and such a sense of humour that I have met. Such a lovely friendly personality and his explanation of what he was doing was excellent. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to anybody requiring an Orthopaedic consultant. No problem is to much for him to answer. Shirley

Mr Fitzgerald is incredible. Not only has he taken great care of my health, but also he is lovely to speak with at every appointment. He has taken the time to contact me following my treatment to check my progress. He is friendly, genuine and it is obvious he cares about his work. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist in back issues.
