He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the King’s College Medical School – University of London. He is an Oncoplasti Breast Consultant Surgeon at King’s College Hospital NHS Trust.

    He had his training and experience within the Breast Oncoplastic Unit at the Princess Royal University Hospital. Mr Kasem spent 18 months as part-time secondment with the oncoplastic breast surgery team at the Royal Marsden Hospital. He joined South-East London Breast Cancer Screening at the King's College University Hospital and the oncoplastic surgery team at St Thomas' Hospital to perform the breast oncology procedures for breast cancer patients.

    Mr Kasem is a keen learner and decided to further his training by attending the European Institute of Oncology in Milan and many international oncoplastic breast surgery centres.  His Oncoplastic Breast Surgery skills include breast cancer surgery, mastectomy, breast lumpectomy, breast reduction, breast mastopexy (uplift), breast augmentation, breast lipomodelling and lipofilling with fat grafting, and breast cancer surgery with immediate and delayed breast reconstruction.
    Mr Kasem has published many original articles in peer-review journals covering different hot topics of breast care, breast surgery and breast cancer management. He has been awarded the annual  award year 2014 for outstanding patient experience.
    Mr Kasem is one of the first certified cosmetic surgeons by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in the United Kingdom.
