Dr Shree Datta is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with 15 years' of experience. Her key interests include abnormal periods, fibroids, cervical screening and pregnancy care (including delivery). Dr Datta is highly regarded in her field as a professional and trustworthy Consultant, with a calm, friendly and tailored approach.
Dr Datta practices at several locations across London including King's College Hospital, Lister Hospital, The Portland Hospital for Women and Children and the Medical Express Clinic in Harley Street. She has also been a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists since 2009, received the Helen Lawson award for research into ovarian cancer and was awarded the Arthur Macey scholarship for her research into saphenous vein grafting. Dr Datta has also co-authored three medical textbooks and is a regular contributor to "Mother and Baby" magazine. In 2009 she co-authored "Time for Training" for the Secretary of State.
Dr Datta is currently the lead investigator in a departmental study looking at Fibroids and Embolisation or Myomectomy to Measure the Effect on quality of life among women, or "FEMME". She is well-known on the world stage, having been invited to set up teaching courses internationally, and is a member of the General Medical Council.
