



Miss Nicola Roche graduated in 1989 from Trinity College, Dublin. She was initially appointed a consultant at The Royal Free Hospital in 2002 but moved to the Royal Marsden in 2006 where she was a consultant till August 2020. She continues to see private patients at The Royal Marsden Hospital but no longer has an NHS practice there. In addition she sees patients at The Lister Hospital and Chelsea Out Patients. All her clinics are "one-stop" assessment clinics with radiology and biopsy as appropriate, supported by a breast care nurse.
She provides an oncoplastic approach to surgery, which combines plastic surgical techniques with oncological principles. She works in close collaboration with expert Medical Oncology, Genetic and Plastic Surgical Colleagues. She has regularly featured in Tatler's top 250 consultants.
She is a trustee and meetings secretary of the Association of Breast Surgery, She also sits on the Breast Clinical Expert Group which advises the NHS on best practice for breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and care.
